I wanted to know if there was any diagrams or websites that could tell me how to run wires and install a nice sound system in my truck. Or if there are any similiar trucks (Yukon, Tahoe, etc.) that have the same thing.
well use the wires you have already run to your speakers -replace speakers and buy a wiring harness at walmart for your car it should color match your wires and you just look at a wire diagram for yur headset and hook them right up oh and get a nice dash install kit sinse you have an awesome escalade – for subwoofers – if you have no clue find someone knowledgeble to help you or have it done professionally oh and one more thing – if you gots an escalade you gots the money to buy a 4 or 6 channel amplifier for you speakers – make sure the ohms rating matches and all that stuff when ou buy the amp taking a cars interior apart and putting it back together when wiring is comman sence but be nice to your cadillac but anyway an amplifier will give your aftermarket speakers adequate power and make them sound great

Hello… before you go ripping your suv to shreds, stop and check everything out. First off, if your vehicle has the Bose system, Infinity, or Alpine factory systems, you will need special harnesses and adapters to integrate audio equipment into this vehicle. If you have an escalade, I dont recommend "audio by wally-world" or any of their parts and pieces. Their head units are much more inferior to those of "real" car audio shops, their harnesses are made cheap and the pins easilly push out, and their install kits are a joke at best. They are "universal" and they fit just like that….. you know, connect part "c" with screw "ee" to part "a2". I dont know exactly what you have or what you want to accomplish sound wise whether it be big bass, high quality sound, or a little of both, but I definately recommend checking out a couple of local "real" car audio shops and see what all is out there. Most of the "big box" stores like bestest buys just want to sell you something. Smaller individual stores want to take care of you before, during and after the sale and most of them want you to leave happy because that is what their reputation relies on. Just dont rush it because you could end up spending several thousands of dollars and end up with a huge headache and a financial mess. I have been doing car audio for 18 years and I always strive for excellent personal service. I like when my customers are happy. I personally have a Tahoe that I used as a demo for a while with 8 12inch subs in a wall with 2400 watts of power, until I bought a fishing boat and needed more room for rods and tackle boxes! Tell the shops what you want to do, how you want it to sound, and how much room you are willing to sacrifice to make it happen. You will be much happier in the future!! Hope this helped! Live Loud!
