Contemporary Country CD – Two years after his breakthrough album, Strait From the Heart, George Strait was riding the charts again with perhaps his finest recorded moment. Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind, both the album and the song, were, along with Dwight Yoakam’s Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc., the only real traditional country records on the radio in 1984. And Strait is not a “new traditionalist.” He came out of Texas a country singer, and album after album he proved that he was a traditional country singer. The title cut, written by Sanger and Darlene Shafer is one of four they placed on the album, and another, “Honky Tonk Saturday Night,” charted as the disc’s second single. Jimmy Bowen staggered the tunes here to reflect all of Strait’s considerable strengths — there are hot and jumpy Western swing numbers such as “Any Old Time” and ballads like “You’re Dancin’ This Dance All Wrong,” along with honky tonk weepers such as “I Should Have Watched That First Step.” But there are a few barroom ravers as well as the swinging honky tonk of “Love Comes From the Other Side of Town” and the smoking closer “The Fireman.” This is the tightest selection of tracks, perfectly sequenced and gorgeously sung by an earthy country singer who was at the very top of his powers. im looking at this vehicle and i realli like it because its in really good shape all though the mileage is 158,000 and its an 03 Cadillac CTS Direct Injection Manual. I need to know the Pros and Cons on this car! im 17 and if i get this, this would be my first car.

If so, is it because the SRX is unreliable or because extended warranties on a 3y old car is a good idea?

Yes. Cadillacs are luxury cars, but they are the same as a Ford or Chevy. Bad reliability, bad depreciation. Make sure you buy an extended warranty because it will definitely help you in maintainance costs.

And make sure you buy it from the dealer. This way, theres no uncertainty of wether or not you in fact have an extended warranty.

My escalade has had numerous electrical problems since a remote car starter was put in. Was never told that all remote car starters are incompatible with the escalade until it went to the dealership for a repair. It was then that I heard this news. Well, since I’ve had this remote car starter, the low fuel light comes on even when I have a full tank which I’m used to by now, the service stability system light started about 7-8 months later which I brought it to the dealership and they said it was a bad sensor, replaced it and the next day it was back on permanently. Does anyone happen to have an idea whether this has to do with the remote car starter or would anyone happen to know how I could reset the service stability system light myself or possibly turn it off for good. I will be getting rid of this truck soon but for now the light is driving me nuts. The oil light also just started to come on after a recent oil change, so if anyone would know how to reset that, that would help also.

well i hate to tell you this but with today’s cars, remote starting systems cause more problems then the convenience is worth. i would take the starting system out. i think that you would find that it might solve you problems. but it might not. without looking at it its hard to tell whats going on. on caddys, the suspension is controlled by a level sensor and the computer based on the speed of the car. to find out why the light is on you need a scanner which can look a the computers data. this is different than OBDII. Sorry but you’ll have to pay someone to find this kind of information. as far as the oil light, if its a change oil light indicator, then just look in your manual, online or call your local dealer.
